Our business
Numata provides technology strategy, managed services, cyber operations and AI enablement through offices in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States and Hong Kong. Our workforce is directly employed, salaried and largely office based, which limits exposure to the labour risks most associated with modern slavery.
Our supply chain
Our supply chain is concentrated in software licensing, cloud platforms, hardware distribution and professional services. Hardware manufacturing is the area of highest inherent risk, and we source through established distributors who publish their own modern slavery positions.
Steps we take
- Suppliers are screened at onboarding and expected to meet standards equivalent to our own.
- Employment contracts, right-to-work checks and pay records are held for every employee.
- We pay at or above the applicable living wage in each market.
- Concerns can be raised confidentially to leadership without fear of retaliation.
Review
This statement is reviewed annually by group leadership and updated where our footprint or supply chain changes materially.
